Tall Poppies are members of Teleflora and we are able to assist you with sending flowers anywhere in New Zealand from $20.50 and to most places worldwide from $20.50 - To place a Teleflora (New Zealand and Worldwide) order please call the design store (03) 3811177 so one of our florists can assist you with your floral/delivery requirements.

• If you can’t deliver it personally, Tall Poppies will get your flowers there quickly and hassle-free.
• If it can be done we will do it!
• Same day delivery orders in Christchurch, Suburbs can be placed up to 3pm for the same day delivery.
• Flowers are delivered in Christchurch, Suburbs from Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm by the courier.
• Outer Areas and Wider Outer Areas Monday to Friday delivery only
• Deliveries are not available on Sundays, Long weekends and NZ Public Holidays.
• Deliveries at specific times of the day can be requested but not guaranteed.
  
  

WE MUST HAVE ON ALL ORDERS:

• Full name of person receiving the delivery
• Complete name of business
• Time they start and finish work
• Contact phone number
• Correct spelling of Street address
• If a Flat or Unit clear instructions please
• Suburb, Postcode
• Locked gates? Dogs?
  
  If we do not supply the courier with the above correct information, the courier will not take the order!
  
  
• Deliveries to Business, Hospitals, Universities, Schools, Military Bases, Jails or similar institutions will be delivered to reception areas only and considered delivered.                
• Where there is more than one item on the same delivery these must be securely fastened i.e. teddy bear, additional gift, and large gift card.

Charges

• Christchurch, Suburbs Monday to Friday $12.50
• Christchurch, Suburbs Saturday $15.50
• Outer Areas Monday to Friday $18.50
• Wider Outer Areas Monday to Friday $30.50
• Deliveries to Outer Areas and Wider Outer Areas and some Christchurch, Suburbs may incur extra charges and if applicable you will be notified when your order is personally accepted.
• The courier charges per item.
• If there are two items going to the same person and address the courier will charge one fee.
• If there are three items going to the same person and address the courier will charge two fees.
  

Hospitals

• All deliveries made to hospitals must include the ward name and or number in the relevant address field.
• If you don’t have access to this Tall Poppies will personally phone the hospital and get the ward details on your behalf.
• Any order omitting these details may not be accepted for delivery by the hospital reception.
• Note Christchurch Public has flower free wards

• Note Christchurch Women’s transfer their maternity patients very fast and we suggest you send the flowers once they have moved to their second hospital.
• If a patient has been discharged by the time the courier gets to the hospital, our Re-Delivery Policy will apply.

Re Delivery Policy

• If Tall Poppies has to re-deliver an order Tall Poppies or Courier will get a new delivery address from either the hospital, place of employment and then will re-deliver to the new address.
• If there is no new address available Tall Poppies or Courier will contact the receiver by phone to discuss a new delivery address.
• If Tall Poppies or Courier is unable to contact the receiver direct, Tall Poppies will then make contact with the sender.
• There will be an additional $12.50 re-delivery fee charged to the sender for the re- delivery of the order.
• If contact cannot be made with the receiver or the sender and the order has to be returned to Tall Poppies this is classed as a re-delivery.
• If the order is returned to Tall Poppies by the courier, once the correct details are available and the order can be delivered there is a second  $12.50 re-delivery fee charged to the sender for the second re-delivery of the order.

Some examples of  instances  that incur a re-delivery fee are as follows

- If there are locked gates and no access for the courier
- Unrestrained dogs on the property
- Patient has been discharged from hospital, transferred to another hospital
- Unsafe to leave flowers in a un secure area or due to wet or windy weather
- Receiver is not at place of employment on delivery day
- Incorrect delivery address supplied

Urgent Delivery

• If your order is urgent please call our design store for up to the minute advice on delivery availability. 03-3811177
• As a guide an Urgent Delivery is a two hour service from time of personally discussing and placing your order with a Tall Poppies florist.
• Urgent Delivery is $16.50 and only available on the Christchurch, Suburbs courier.
• Tall Poppies has the right to decline the Urgent Delivery service if the florist feels they cannot furfull the request due to other order commitments.
• This service is not available at special occasion days i.e.
• Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s Day.
  
  

Outer Area Deliveries Charges start at $18.50 per item

Tall Poppies must have received and personally confirmed with the sender that the order can be delivered by 9am for same day delivery otherwise it will be delivered next day.

• If it can be delivered we will do our best to get it there.
• Tall Poppies uses a selection of Outer Area Freight Carriers.

Wider Outer Area Deliveries Charges Start at $30.50 per item

Tall Poppies must have received and personally confirmed  with the sender that the order can be delivered by 3pm for next day delivery.

Orders will be made the day before and held in Tall Poppies cool store overnight ready for a early morning Urgent Delivery service to the Outer Area Freight Carrier.

• If it can be delivered we will do our best to get it there.
• The delivery is made up of two charges                                                           
  $16.50 Urgent Delivery + $14.00 Outer Area Freight Carrier = $30.50
• Rural deliveries may take up to 48 hours.
• Tall Poppies uses a selection of Outer Area Freight Carriers.

Cancellations

• Any cancellation given at least 24 hours before delivery date will be eligible for a delivery fee refund.
